Dr. Basant Kumar Verma is a Professor with over 18 years of professional experience, including 16 years in teaching, 12 years in research, and 2 years in industry. He holds a Ph.D. and M.E. and specializes in Data Science, Big Data, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Database Systems. His teaching expertise includes Data Science, Big Data and Analytics, Cloud Computing, Network Security, Software Engineering, and Database Systems. Dr. Verma has published 50 research papers, including 15 Scopus-indexed and 2 UGC-CARE publications, and has 23 published patents. He has authored the international book Machine Learning Methods for Engineering Application Development, published by Bentham Science Publishers. He has guided 41 M.Tech. students, currently supervises three Ph.D. scholars, and has successfully completed five funded research projects and two consultancy projects.
