Prof. Dr. CC Reddy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar), where he has also served as Head of the Department and Dean of International Relations and Alumni Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. and M.E. from the Indian Institute of Science and has extensive academic and industrial research experience, including his tenure at J-Power Systems Corporation, Hitachi, Japan. His research expertise includes nano-dielectrics, HVDC and AC power cables, power transformers, bushings, space charge phenomena, breakdown mechanisms, and dielectric materials. Prof. Reddy has authored numerous research publications, guided Ph.D. scholars, and authored a book on power equipment reliability. He actively contributes to IEEE and IEC activities and has held key roles in several international conferences and research collaborations.
